Past Projects

Since its founding in 1999 the Partnership has engaged in a number of collaborative projects which have attracted funding support from the AHRC, the MLA, and the HLF.

These projects have all resulted in significant public outcomes either in the form of publications, exhibitions, seminars, or enhanced resources as with the Libraries project.

It is our aim to preserve as much of this research as possible and make it accessible in the form of downloadable documents, particularly in the case of Maids & Mistresses (2004) and Work & Play (2007).

Future exhibition material will be posted on the website, and will act as a resource for students of the country house, along with bibliographies and reading lists compiled by curators, together with the programmes and abstracts of the biennial seminars.
